About Midtown Primary Care
Family Medicine in Greenville, SC, Done Differently.
Members across Greenville and Upstate South Carolina trust Midtown for their primary care. Most of them found us the same way: someone they already trusted told them to. This is the story behind the practice, the provider, and the team that runs every appointment, every lab draw, and every patient interaction.
Our Story
Midtown Primary Care exists because Ayesha Nutt spent 11 years watching family medicine in Greenville, SC, get squeezed down to almost nothing. Seven-minute appointments. Long wait times for a primary care slot. Patients leaving visits with their real questions still unanswered because the clock ran out before anyone got to them.
She was good at her job inside that system. The system was not good for her patients.
In 2025, she left to build something that was. Midtown opened as a direct primary care provider in Greenville, SC: one flat monthly fee, no insurance required for your visits, no per-visit billing, and no one outside this office deciding what care you need or when you can have it.
Today, Midtown serves members across Greenville and Upstate South Carolina. Midtown also offers direct primary care benefits to select Greenville-area employers, including small businesses seeking an accessible alternative to traditional employee health coverage.

The Four Pillars Behind Every Clinical Decision
These are not marketing words. They are the actual framework behind every appointment Ayesha runs at Midtown.

Modern Medicine
Evidence-based care that stays current without an insurance gatekeeper deciding what you are allowed to access.

Movement
Physical strength and function are treated as health outcomes here, not lifestyle suggestions you can take or leave.

Mindfulness
Mental wellness is part of every visit. Not referred out by default, and not ignored because the appointment is running long.

Motivation
Lasting change requires a provider who shows up for you consistently, not just when something breaks down.
Meet The Founder: Ayesha Nutt, APRN, FNP-BC
I became a board-certified family nurse practitioner because I wanted a career built around real clinical relationships. Not a 7-minute slot on a schedule, not a provider number attached to a billing code. A relationship where I knew your history, understood where you were trying to go with your health, and had enough time to help you get there.
Eleven years in the hospital system taught me a great deal about medicine. It also showed me, in sharp detail, exactly what gets in the way of it. Prior authorizations are holding up basic care. Referrals that took months to clear. Visits were so brief that patients left with their real questions still in their pockets because there was no time left on the clock.

I opened Midtown because I was done working inside that structure. As the first NP-led direct primary care practice of its kind in Greenville, SC, Midtown was built so that the answer to "can we address that today?" would almost always be yes.
The
2022 Health Monitor LifeChanger Award means more to me than most professional recognition. It is patient-nominated and AANP-recognized, which means it came directly from the people I built all of this for.

our team
Corriana is the first person most patients interact with at Midtown, and she understands exactly what that means. When you walk through the door, she is the one setting the tone for what the whole visit will feel like, and she does not take that lightly.
As a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist trained at Greenville Technical College, she runs the clinical side of every patient visit. She draws labs, preps the room, and makes sure patients are calm and ready before your nurse practitioner walks in. Her standard is a direct one: treat every patient the way she would want her own family treated. Patients notice. Members describe the Midtown experience as peaceful the moment they walk through the door, and Corriana is a significant reason for that.
Outside the clinic, Corriana builds LEGO sets, spends time with her family, and is motivated every day by her son to show up with the
same patience and accuracy for every patient, every visit.
